What/who are Burnshee - Thornside
Burnshee and Thornside first met in their teens, when they played in the
club "Hard Pepper Funk Unit", on 8th street in N.Y. They both were about
18 and had there own bands. Burnshee had "The Lame Flames", playing rock
with a touch of funk and Hendrix, and Thornside had a jazz ensemble
playing Bebop and 60's cool jazz. The two bands started jamming after
the shows, that's when Thornside, after a few beers, tried to sing.
Burnshee liked what he heard and approached the young Thornside
afterwards and asked them if they could play again, maybe try to form a
new band, with Thornsides trumpet and singing together with Burnshees
Hendrix guitar. Thornside didn't mind at all. And so it all began.
Alongside the gigs and touring they've written songs together. Now they've also started recording their best stuff. Their third album "Rock this moon" is just released. Burnshee says:
"Once again we've had pleasure playing with a lot of fine musicians. Hope y'all like the new CD as much as we do!"

Unsigned Heaven
We don't believe in big record companies charging too
much money from the consumer. We believe that The Internet is a perfect place
for downloading new music, without the "middle management". The listener can
communicate directly with the artist. The artist can keep his och her
artistic freedom. The artist can release ONE song, or twenty. The artist can
be totally free. So can the consumer. If you want to buy just one song
from Burnshee Thornside, do it. If you want them all, that's okay too
:-)
We're signed to ourselves. We make records because it's fun,
